What we are looking for
We’re looking for a mission-driven Senior Front-end Engineer to join our growing team. If you want to play a key role in scaling a new, innovative business through design, this is the position for you.
This role is responsible for working on building and maintaining the Bild web platform. You will also be responsible for mentoring and growing junior engineers in the team. You will have direct access to leadership across the organization.
What you will do
Implement visually appealing user interfaces and interactive web applications using React.js and packages like Redux and React Router.
Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experiences.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
Participate in code reviews and provide and receive constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and propose ways to incorporate new front-end technologies into future projects.
Who you are
5+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on ReactJS.
Strong knowledge of Redux, React Router, and other popular React libraries.
Able to handle the entire software development lifecycle, end to end.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive approach, with the ability to function under minimal supervision.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and making decisions without all the answers in front of you.
Comfortable defining success metrics and making data-informed decisions.
