What you’ll be doing

The Lead UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing and developing the visual and interactive elements of our industry-leading, fully autonomous AI team member for our customers' SOC. This role requires a strong foundational understanding of user-centered design principles, front-end technologies, and information architecture (IA), with a focus on delivering scalable, maintainable, and high-quality user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have closely worked with product development teams to deliver seamless user experiences to Crogl users. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to deployment and iteration based on user feedback.

  • Define and create the information architecture that our customers will use as a resource, ensuring it supports the entire product workflow and user journey.

  • Collaborate closely with Crogl's engineering team to ensure the seamless implementation of UI components and design systems, contributing to the overall stability and performance of the shipped product.

  • Establish and enforce best practices for user interface architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product throughout the development and deployment process.

  • Develop reusable, modular UI components and patterns to streamline development and ensure uniformity across multiple teams, enabling faster iteration and product releases.

  • Create design guidelines, patterns, and documentation that align with user needs and business goals, contributing to a cohesive and intuitive user experience in the shipped product.

  • Advocate for and drive user-centered design practices, ensuring that UI solutions align with user needs, usability standards, and accessibility best practices. This includes gathering and incorporating user feedback after product releases to drive continuous improvement.

  • Conduct design reviews and feedback sessions, ensuring that UI designs are intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional, contributing to a polished and professional final product.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • 8+ years of experience in front-end development, UI architecture with a strong portfolio demonstrating your information architecture skills, and experience contributing to the successful release of software products.

  • Experience with Typescript or other similar front-end frameworks.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

  • Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools (e.g., InVision, Axure).

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL storage (Postgres/MySQL, DynamoDB/MongoDB) and ORM technologies like Hibernate

  • Understanding of front-end build tools (Webpack, Gulp, npm, etc.) and version control (Git).

What separates you from the other candidates:

  • Experience on an enterprise product engineering team with frequent releases, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality products.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, contributing to a smooth and efficient release process.

  • Experience with a security product, specifically threat detection, with a focus on information architecture (IA), contributing to the design and development of impactful security solutions.
