Role: Sales Development Representative - US Gov

Job Type: Full Time, Washington D.C. Area ideally

Crogl is the knowledge engineer for Security Operations–and we’re growing fast! We’re currently looking for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help fuel our growth engine. In this role, you’ll focus on driving pipeline within the U.S. Government and public sector, correcting Crogl’s cutting-edge cybersecurity platform to mission-driven organizations that defend critical infrastructure and national security.

You’ll be on the front lines of customer engagement, identifying qualified leads, generating pipeline, and starting meaningful conversations with cybersecurity professionals in the government space.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect into the U.S. Government agencies, defence contractors, and public sector accounts using email, phone, and social channels

  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, setting meetings for Account Executives focused on the federal and public sector clients

  • Maintain detailed and organized record in our CRM (Hubspot)

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine outreach strategies and messaging specific government buyers

  • Understand and clearly communicate Crogl’s value proposition to federal security and compliance stakeholders

  • Represent the Crogl brand with professionalism, curiosity, and a mission-aligned attitude

What you bring to the team:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferable in cybersecurity or SaaS

  • Prior experience selling into U.S. Government, DoD, or public sector accounts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical and regulated environments

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Hubspot and outreach platforms

What makes you stand out from other candidates:

  • Deep familiarity with the U.S. Federal procurement process or government buyer personas

  • Understanding of security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or Zero Trust architecture

  • Creativity in breaking into complex account and securing meetings

Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
