About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented GRC Analyst to join our Information Security & Compliance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting customer security and compliance questionnaires, assisting with SOC 2 audit readiness and evidence collection, and maintaining internal compliance documentation. This position is well-suited for someone early in their career who is looking to grow their expertise in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) within a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the completion of customer and vendor security/compliance questionnaires, collaborating with stakeholders across InfoSec, Engineering, and Legal.

• Assist in preparing for SOC 2 audits, including evidence collection, documentation review, and control testing coordination.

• Maintain and update compliance artifacts, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment with regulatory and industry standards.

• Track open audit items and help coordinate remediation efforts with business and technical owners.

• Assist in monitoring compliance with internal security policies and external obligations (e.g., contractual, regulatory, certification requirements).

• Contribute to maintaining compliance tools and automation platforms (e.g., Vanta, GRC software).

• Support ad hoc InfoSec and compliance initiatives, such as vendor risk management, security awareness, and internal assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in information security, compliance, risk management, or audit support (internships or academic experience will be considered).

• Foundational understanding of security frameworks and standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to formally draft professional, customer-appropriate responses that convey confidence and clarity.

• Strong oral communication skills and comfort presenting compliance topics to varied audiences.

• Reliability and accountability in completing deliverables on time.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt as the business grows.

• Startup mindset: willingness to wear many hats, thrive in ambiguity, and contribute wherever needed.

• Team player with a collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across functions.

• Proficiency with productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, Notion, Linear, or similar project tracking tools).

• Interest in pursuing professional growth in GRC, compliance, and information security.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to GRC automation tools (e.g., Vanta, Drata).

• Experience responding to security due diligence questionnaires.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and IT/security concepts.
