Mediafly is seeking a Software Engineer to help us build out our integrations and data pipeline architecture.
Responsibilities of a Software Engineer:
- Take customers and prospects’ business objectives and translate them into technical requirements, related to computer science; Collaborate with software architects, information technology (IT) engineers, sales engineers and others to devise complex, specialized technology approaches that accommodate customers’ requirements; Define robust, specialized, technology plans in conjunctions with team leads and software architects; Engage in user interfacing; Develop analytics in collaboration with IT engineers and Mediafly software architects; Use, implement and integrate the Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management System; Use and apply knowledge of the Structured Query Language (SQL); Develop technology to solve business programs utilizing Python, JavaScript, Relational Database Management Systems, NoSQL technologies, Amazon Web Services, and Uni; Establish design approaches for computer information systems and data migration; Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other systems related information; Collaborate with other IT engineers, software developers and architects to select appropriate designs and ensure compatibility of system components; Identify system-specific data and software components required to meet need; Technology installation, configuration, and data migration in a variety of environments related to development, quality, and production; Provide technical support for the installation, development, and troubleshooting of computer information systems and software applications; End-to-end design of technologies to suit specific software and information technology; Perform and monitor software testing and validation processes; Evaluating pre-existing and emerging technologies, used or for potential use in Mediafly technical environments, to include specialized focus on such factors as portability, compatibility and usability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and three years of experience in the job offered or developing full-stack web applications. Special skills: Experience in software engineering, computer science and distributed systems; building and maintaining back-end application infrastructures, including debugging and performance tuning; modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, etc.) and front-end build pipeline tools; and Git or other version control systems.
