We are looking for a dynamic Global Account Director (GAD) to drive revenue growth by partnering with SAP colleagues to identify net new opportunities for Mediafly from SAPs Sales Cloud install base. In addition to originating and closing new customer relationships from many of the world’s most iconic brands our EMEA GAD will drive cross-sell and expansion deals from a named account list of existing Mediafly customers.
The ideal candidate must excel at engaging with senior executives and take an insights and value led approach to external sales conversations. We seek a collaborative GAD with a track record in selling complex product suites to large multinational corporations. Strong strategic planning and technical expertise are essential.
Responsibilities include engaging in joint strategic planning with SAP and Mediafly executives, effectively delivering Mediafly demonstrations and sales pitches, understanding the competitive landscape and successfully differentiating Mediafly and its solutions from competitors. This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and has a dotted line reporting structure to the Chief Partner Officer.
Responsibilities you can look forward to:
- Attend SAP internal and external events to ensure Mediafly.
- Conduct joint account strategy and planning sessions with SAP sellers/executives.
- Participate in joint account planning sessions with SAP sellers/executives.
- Deliver sales presentations to executives at target companies.
- Deliver persona based demonstrations of Mediafly’s solutions.
- Build and maintain a pipeline that is 4xs quarterly targets.
- Create strategic account plans for all key opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success personnel to ensure seamless handoffs.
- Utilize Mediafly’s solutions to support your day-to-day activities.
- Partner with Mediafly executives to advance and close deals.
- Maintain accurate data in Salesforce.
- Develop a consistent and relevant presence on LinkedIn.
- Possess strong negotiation skills.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Enjoy extensive travel in Europe.
- Have multiple language capabilities with an emphasis on German.
- Be based on the European continent (i.e. Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria)
- Have experience with SAP’s CX Organization.
- 10+ years in software sales, especially SaaS to large enterprises of 3000+ employees.
- Possess strong technical skills and demonstration capabilities.
- Be highly collaborative.
- Have an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Have strong Relationship-building expertise.
- Have experience with the ValueSelling methodology.
