Mediafly is seeking a Value Engineer to play a crucial role in driving the success of our Value solution by working closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to understand and articulate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective and existing clients. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to effectively position Mediafly’s value solution and drive revenue growth. This role will report to the Director, Value Engineering.

Responsibilities of a Value Engineer:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and analytics requirements.
  • Conduct value discovery workshops with clients to uncover their business challenges, goals, and desired outcomes, and translate them into value-based solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, and Mediafly’s product teams.
  • Develop comprehensive analytics strategies tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each client aligned to the post-sales customer journey.
  • Work closely with internal product managers and analysts to design and implement effective analytical models that are customer-friendly.
  • Define and articulate the value proposition of analytics solutions, emphasizing the impact on business outcomes.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses to demonstrate the potential return on investment for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of the value solution, including teaching and training Customer Success Managers how to educate users on key analytics.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop and execute value-based selling strategies, including value assessments, business value conversations, and executive-level engagement.
  • Track and analyze key metrics and KPIs related to value engineering activities, such as win rates, deal sizes, and customer ROI, and provide insights and recommendations on continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the implementation phase.
  • Stay up-to-date of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics.
  • Actively contribute to the development of reusable assets and methodologies.

We would love to work with you if you have:

  • 3-5+ years of developing a career in Finance, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Data and Analytics with a focus on dashboard development, implementation, customization, education, and training.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth through value-based selling and solution positioning.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to develop and present compelling ROI analyses and business cases.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring teams.
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric focus and a passion for driving customer success.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Experience with revenue enablement, sales effectiveness, or CRM software platforms is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering or related field, preferred.
