OneTrust is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering in London. This is a technical leadership position responsible for driving overall Solution Engineering strategy, vision, daily execution, and enablement of the team.
This director will play a pivotal role in shaping a growing organization and continue to further cement their position as a strategic leader. This person must be able to work cross-functionally to develop and implement sales strategy that drive efficiency and performance improvement across multiple operational and financial metrics.
This is a highly visible role that will report directly to the SVP of Solutions Engineering and will work daily with senior sales leadership, channel and partner teams, marketing and product teams as well as OneTrust executives to drive continued growth through an integrated, cross-departmental strategy.
Your mission
- You will lead the Solution Engineering Team in the region, reporting to the International SVP with a strong dotted line report to the UKI Sales Leaders
- You and your team will be responsible to achieve both Technical Win and Business Win on key opportunities in the region
- You will be responsible to qualify in and out SE Team engagements
- You will support other GTM initiatives, like partner and marketing events
- You will be the go to person related to technology interactions in the region
You Are
- An experienced leader in the technology/infrastructure space with progressive technical leadership responsibilities and expertise working with cross-functional teams to create and drive the business strategy and execution
- Experienced in running pre-sales teams of product lines, regions and the ability to drive and build business plans and investment strategies for demos, POCs and sales enablement tools.
- Have extensive experience and knowledge of sales operations and enterprise sales models, including multi-channel distribution.
- Able to maintain positive relationships with all levels of our internal organization and channel partners through effective communication and relationship building
- Able to develop creative solutions to complex problems and gain buy-in of colleagues across functions.
- Able to build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects.
Your Experience Includes
:- 12+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally in an Enterprise Cloud-based Software company; or 10+ years of experience with Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Several years of experience leading a team of Solution Engineers
- Strong background and experience in Solution Engineering
- Has led or played a major role in a complex technology transformation.
- Customer Visibility: Comfort in customer-facing situations; willingness and executive presence to engage in the market. Externally connected, well networked with peers and relevant communities.
- Experience working across a matrixed organization and influencing stakeholders outside of direct team.
