We are hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to join the global Cloud Operations team. You will support production customers by monitoring and maintaining a highly distributed, scalable and resilient global cloud infrastructureYour Mission
- You'll be building scripts for operational automation and incident response
- You'll handle processes surrounding cloud application deployment for our agile release
- You'll be working with the monitoring, tuning, maintenance, and support of Linux, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, cloud infrastructure/services, etc.
- You will define, measure, and meet key operational metrics including performance, incidents, capacity, and availability
- You will run incident resolution within the environment, facilitating teamwork with other departments as required
- You'll build out lifecycle processes to mitigate risk and ensure platforms remain current, in accordance with industry standard methodologies
- You will automate the deployment of new software to cloud environment in coordination with DevOps engineers
You Are
- Highly organized and meticulous with excellent process management skills
- Able to lead multiple tasks with shifting priorities
- Able to function in a rapidly changing environment
- Someone with good verbal and written interpersonal skills – you are able to clearly and effectively articulate ideas and direction of projects
Your Experience Includes
- Two (2) or more years working with the Microsoft Azure platform (preferred) or another public cloud platform
- One (1) or more years of experience in automation tools like Terraform, Linux scripting, Cloud Orchestration tools like Ansible or Chef, etc.
- Ability to write scripts in one major scripting language such as Bash, PowerShell &/or Python
- Ability to plan, schedule and monitor work activities in order to meet time and quality targets.
- Understanding of Container and DevOps technologies

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
Salary Range
$81,150—$121,725 USD
