The Challenge
We're looking for a Specialist Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Consent Management, Preference Management, Identity-Based Consent, and Privacy Experience Platforms to join our R&D Customer Engineering organization and lead Consent & Preferences initiatives within the Design Partner Program. This is a highly strategic customer-facing role responsible for partnering with some of OneTrust's most innovative and influential customers as they modernize how trust, consent, preferences, and data rights are managed across their digital ecosystem.
The Specialist Solutions Architect serves as the bridge between customers, Product Management, Engineering, and Executive Leadership. You will work directly with product owners, architecture teams, privacy leaders, marketing stakeholders, and engineering organizations to understand consent challenges, preference management requirements, implementation complexities, and business objectives. Your mission is to transform these insights into product strategy, platform capabilities, and roadmap investments that shape the future of OneTrust's Consent & Preferences portfolio.
Success in this role means helping customers establish trust as a competitive advantage while accelerating adoption, influencing product direction, improving implementation outcomes, and ensuring OneTrust remains the market leader for consent and preference management.
Your Mission
- Define the Consent & Preferences solution vision by translating customer requirements, regulatory expectations, and market needs into scalable platform capabilities and roadmap priorities.
- Serve as the primary technical and domain advisor for Design Partner customers, leading discovery sessions, architecture workshops, solution reviews, and technical assessments.
- Bridge customer needs with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture by converting implementation challenges and product gaps into reusable product investments and reference solutions.
- Design scalable, secure, and resilient solution patterns across CMP, preference centers, identity-linked consent, consent synchronization, preference APIs, and related operational workflows.
- Drive measurable customer outcomes by improving adoption, implementation speed, compliance readiness, customer trust, and long-term platform reuse.
You Are
- A strategic and customer-facing technical leader who operates at the intersection of product strategy, solution architecture, and Consent & Preferences domain expertise.
- Comfortable engaging with executives, architects, engineers, product leaders, privacy teams, marketing stakeholders, identity teams, and governance leaders.
- Deeply technical, but able to translate architectural tradeoffs and regulatory complexity into clear business outcomes.
- A systems thinker who designs for scalability, reuse, security, resilience, and long-term platform maintainability while balancing immediate customer needs with broader platform strategy.
- Customer-obsessed, execution-oriented, and influential without direct authority, with strong judgment, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Your Experience Includes
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, solutions consulting, technical product leadership, or strategic customer-facing roles in enterprise SaaS environments.
- Significant experience in Consent Management, Preference Management, Privacy Technology, Identity-Based Consent, MarTech, Customer Data Platforms, Digital Experience platforms, or related domains.
- Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers to define requirements, lead discovery, shape technical strategy, and drive adoption.
- Experience designing enterprise-scale SaaS solutions, including APIs, integrations, data models, architecture patterns, identity-linked workflows, and secure implementation approaches.
- Strong understanding of consent collection, preference centers, consent synchronization, consent governance models, identity resolution, privacy regulations such as GDPR/CCPA/ePrivacy, and cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, UX, Privacy, Security, and GTM teams.
- Deep understanding of consent collection, preference centers, consent synchronization, consent governance models, identity resolution, and cross-channel preference orchestration.
- Experience creating reference architectures, reusable implementation patterns, best practices, or solution standards that improve scalability and customer outcomes.
