Commercial Programs Manager

About Us:

We believe that making the best decisions means looking at all the facts – a near-impossible task in our era of information overload. To fix this, we are building the next generation of machine learning software. Powered by generative AI, our algorithms analyze key information sources and provide comprehensive, factual answers for even your most complex queries.

We believe that the transformative impact of generative AI will be only realized by those willing to take on the world’s biggest information challenges. To make this future come true, we deploy our longstanding expertise in reinforcement learning and natural language processing.

We are scientists. Builders. Entrepreneurs. We spearheaded many of AI’s most impactful applications. We led teams at Google, DeepMind, Meta, and EY-Parthenon. We now bridge cutting-edge AI research and the biopharma industry.

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Programs Manager to drive key initiatives across business development, sales, and customer engagement in the life sciences software space. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with leadership, account executives (AEs) and managing external partners to ensure our commercial engine runs smoothly and scales effectively. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution — building programs, enabling teams, and ensuring our go-to-market efforts land with impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Program & Strategy Execution
    • Co-develop and operationalize sales and business development strategies.
    • Shape and refine pricing strategy in collaboration with leadership.
    • Partner with marketing and design to create and update collateral materials.
  • Sales Enablement & Operations
    • Design and roll out sales enablement initiatives to equip AEs with tools, training, and insights.
    • Manage outsourced support vendors (e.g., SDR providers), including performance oversight and relationship management.
    • Support account management activities and ensure smooth coordination across teams.
    • Prepare and facilitate client meetings, workshops, and internal planning sessions.
    • Run sessions independently when required.
    • Negotiate with suppliers and external partners.
    • Identify and implement process improvements across BD and sales.
  • Events & Outreach
    • Lead conference planning, including logistics, content, and pre-conference outreach strategy.
    • Ensure strong meeting pipelines and effective follow-up around events.
  • Team & Growth Support
    • Collaborate with leadership on hiring initiatives within the commercial organization.
    • Maintain strong relationships with the Customer Engagement team to align priorities and handoffs.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (life sciences preferred)
  • Professional experience in life sciences consulting, MedComms, or commercial roles within pharma/biotech/software - and an understanding of how these stakeholders evaluate and adopt software solutions.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales operations, or commercial program management.
  • Exposure to pricing strategy, sales enablement practices, and go-to-market planning.
  • Comfortable leading sessions, workshops, and external-facing meetings.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build trust across teams.
  • Comfortable moving between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Hands-on go-to-market (GTM) experience in a startup or fast-scaling environment

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
