About the Role/ The Opportunity:
Sitecore Product Support team provides assistance in solving non-trivial technical challenges to Sitecore Partners and Customers, and is a key contributor in ensuring successful implementations of many Sitecore projects.

Senior Software Engineers spend most of the time on deep investigation of the real-life usage of the Sitecore Experience Platform, Experience Manager Cloud, Content Hub, and other Sitecore products, working with the product code, troubleshooting complex problems, developing patches and code examples.
The work process involves written communication with Certified Sitecore Developers from around the world, while online meetings are used for the most complex projects and critical situations.
In addition to helping Partners and Customers deliver successful Sitecore solutions, the team contributes to the development of Sitecore products, develops and maintains own modules and applications.
Senior Software Engineers will be amongst the main contributors involved in the development of technical guides and other material. This material shall be used by engineers on their daily activities, to enhance agility and accuracy. In addition, other responsibilities include coaching/assisting and onboarding other engineers, with the aim on helping them grow.
Position of the Senior Software Engineer in the Sitecore Product Support team provides technical and personal growth opportunities in the wide range of different professional areas for both new and experienced software development specialists. Position will require participation in 24x7x365 shift coverage rotation, including work during late hours and during weekends, according to the predefined schedule and in compliance with all local labour regulations.
What You Need to Succeed:
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical position
- Excellent coaching skills and ability to onboard new members
- Excellent communication (in English) and people skills
- Ability to take decisions and provide technical guidance
- Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including:
- ASP.NET
- C#
- Visual Studio
- MS SQL Server
- Azure
- Knowledge of HTML, XML/JSON, JavaScript, and CSS
- Outstanding problem solving and logical thinking skills
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Understanding of client-server software architecture
- Experience of working with data structures and creating software algorithms
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- Managing a team
- ITIL Certified
- Experience in supporting SaaS platforms
- Experience in troubleshooting software performance & scalability issues
- Experience working with technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, Elastic, Redis, Kibana, Grafana, Kafka, GraphQL, Cloudflare
- Experience with Javascript frontend frameworks such as Knockout, React and Vue
