This leader aligns portfolio investment with company priorities to drive customer value, strengthen market position, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Working in close partnership with Product, Engineering, Design, Go-To-Market, and Finance leaders, the SVP provides strategic direction and operational leadership across product functions. The role is accountable for defining the operating model, governance, and standards that shape how product management is practiced at Sitecore and enable consistent execution and experience at scale.
What You Will Do:
Portfolio & Investment Strategy
- Lead portfolio planning and investment governance, translating company strategy into clear product priorities.
- Partner with Finance, Product, and Technology leaders to align resources with strategic value creation.
- Maintain a holistic product portfolio view that connects investments to business outcomes.
- Drive market sizing and opportunity analysis, including TAM and SAM assessments, to inform investment decisions and portfolio trade-offs.
- Establish and apply a consistent Build / Buy / Partner framework to guide product expansion, acquisitions, and ecosystem investments.
Product Operations & Excellence
- Establish Sitecore’s product operating model, governance, and execution cadence.
- Define and uphold product management standards across discovery, validation, and delivery.
- Create and maintain a company-wide Product Playbook covering discovery, experimentation, roadmapping, and release readiness.
- Set expectations for product metrics, instrumentation, and dashboards.
- Drive portfolio-level product reviews that promote evidence-based decisions, risk management, and cross-team alignment.
- Ensure teams use repeatable, data-driven processes to evaluate bets, measure adoption, and iterate.
Product Evangelism & Communications
- Act as a senior evangelist for Sitecore’s product vision, internally and externally.
- Support analyst relations, product marketing, and executive communications with strong product narratives.
- Serve as a spokesperson alongside executive product and technology leaders at customer and industry events.
Partner Ecosystem Strategy
- Define and evolve Sitecore’s partner ecosystem strategy across technology, services, and channel partners.
- Align partner programs with the product roadmap, go-to-market priorities, and integration strategy.
- Develop co-sell and co-innovation models that drive joint customer value and revenue growth.
- Monitor industry and partner trends to identify opportunities for ecosystem expansion and differentiation.
Product Growth
- Establish and lead a product growth function focused on driving adoption and revenue across the portfolio.
- Define growth frameworks, metrics, and operating models to support experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture that uses data, analytics, and customer insights to inform growth decisions.
What You'll Need:
- Proven senior leadership experience (SVP/VP level or equivalent) within enterprise SaaS or platform-based technology companies, preferably operating at global scale.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models, including subscription economics, product-led and sales-led motions, platform strategy, and lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling product operating systems—including portfolio planning, investment governance, execution cadence, and product management standards—in SaaS environments.
- Track record of translating company strategy into clear product priorities and measurable business outcomes across complex, multi-product portfolios.
- Deep cross-functional leadership experience, with the ability to partner effectively with Product, Engineering, Design, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and executive stakeholders.
- Experience overseeing or working closely with Product Design as a horizontal function, integrating discovery, research, and experimentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Exposure to partner ecosystem strategy within a SaaS or platform context, including integrations, alliances, and co-innovation models.
- Experience establishing or leading product growth or experimentation functions, leveraging data, analytics, and customer insights to drive adoption and revenue.
- Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence at the highest levels and represent the product organization internally and externally.
- Strong systems thinking, sound judgment, and comfort operating in complex, evolving environments.
