About the Role:
The Senior Deal Desk Analyst will partner with sales teams providing guidance and recommendations on deal pricing, commercial structure, and contract terms, and on building, reviewing, and approving standard and non-standard quotes. The Senior Deal Desk Analyst will liaise with key stakeholders across Sales Management, Legal, Finance, Product & Pricing, and Services to secure approvals in line with Sitecore’s financial and strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Sales Teams in building commercial offers for customers, including our largest and most strategic accounts
- Review, approve or reject all standard and non-standard quotes to ensure compliance with Sitecore’s Empowerment Rules
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales Management, Legal, Finance, Product & Pricing, Services, and Sales Operations to facilitate the deal process, including deal approvals
- Provide confident, rational, and supported arguments for any deal approvals/rejections based on pricing policy, deal structure, commercials, or legal T&Cs by maintaining deal governance and enforcing compliance
- Manage order documents from draft to signature, owning commercial term negotiations and redlines
- Identify, develop, and implement productivity improvements so Deal Desk function scales with Sitecore’s broader business - defining and managing projects to deliver further operational efficiencies
- Enable and advise Sales Teams and other stakeholders on pricing, quoting, on-boarding process and best practices
What You Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a deal desk, finance, or revenue role with significant software/SaaS experience
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial terms, and contracts
- BS Business Administration or related degree preferred
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and accounting principles e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, etc.
- An understanding of the sales process and the ability to navigate and progress long, complex sales cycles
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multi-task
- Flexible to work extended hours during peak periods, especially end of financial periods/quarters
- Proven experience in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ
- Occasional travel may be required

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence at a senior level. Must be able to foster and maintain strong partnering relationships with sales and other internal departments.
