About the Role:
The License Assurance Manager is a senior individual contributor role who independently owns and drives software license compliance reviews across Sitecore’s strategic and enterprise customer base. This dynamic role entails working closely with internal teams and customers to determine if the Sitecore customer complies with the terms and conditions of its agreement(s), pricing, and licensing. The candidate will work through a large number of customers to assess, identify, and pass on compliance-related opportunities to field sales and support commercial closures.
The candidate should possess analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills as they will be required to work closely with global teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Independently own and drive end-to-end License Compliance reviews for Sitecore's most strategic and enterprise accounts, leading cross-functional engagement across Field Sales, Product, Managed Cloud Operations, Legal, and Finance.
- Interpret complex, multi-product licensing and contractual constructs.
- Lead in-depth analysis of license purchase and deployment data to identify compliance cases.
- Support Field Sales on customer calls by clarifying audit data requests, gathering required information and helping move reviews toward resolution.
- Track and progress a portfolio of active compliance cases through each stage of the workflow, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate case records.
- Participate in projects, drive License Assurance process and tooling improvements - leading initiatives, defining best practices and serving as a subject-matter resource for peers
What You Need to Succeed:
- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of experience managing license compliance audits with IT infrastructure knowledge, software asset management or license management.
- Strong Analytical and Organizational Skills.
- Attention to Detail, Problem Solving Skills.
- High level of independence and resilience.
- Strong understanding of software license agreements with specific experience and proven ability to comprehend and interpret complex licensing.
- Advance Excel proficient. Working knowledge of Power Query and Power BI is expected for this role
- Experience with databases, record repository applications including SFDC and ServiceNow is a plus
