About the Role
Sitecore's CRM Platform Operations team is hiring a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions on our Salesforce platform that power the global revenue organization. You'll partner with business systems analysts, sales operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and well-tested code. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and business process — your work will directly enable how Sitecore sells, renews, and supports customers worldwide.
What You'll Do
  • Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and Flow
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and surrounding systems (CPQ, billing, marketing automation, data warehouse, ERP, ServiceNow) using REST/SOAP APIs, platform events, and middleware
  • Translate business requirements from analysts and stakeholders into clean technical designs, with attention to scalability, governor limits, and long-term maintainability
  • Write unit tests, conduct code reviews, and uphold deployment best practices across sandboxes using CI/CD tooling (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, Gearset, or Git-based pipelines)
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver durable fixes
  • Contribute to platform health: technical debt reduction, security reviews, release readiness, and documentation
  • Mentor junior developers and partner with admins on declarative-vs-code trade-offs
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and the Salesforce metadata model
  • Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud in an enterprise environment
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns and REST/SOAP API development
  • Familiarity with Git-based source control and CI/CD for Salesforce
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Preferred
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect certifications
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, or quote-to-cash processes
  • Exposure to Lead-to-Cash, renewal, or subscription business models
  • Experience working in a global, multi-region SaaS environment
  • Background partnering with Revenue Operations or Sales Systems teams
What Success Looks Like
  • Ships production-ready code that meets requirements, passes review, and holds up under scale
  • Communicates clearly with non-technical stakeholders and challenges requirements when a better approach exists
  • Treats the platform as a product — invests in test coverage, documentation, and operability
  • Collaborates well across time zones with admins, analysts, and other developers
