Backed by top-tier investors, we’re scaling toward $5M ARR and building a modern GTM engine that blends insight, automation, and performance.

About the Role

We’re hiring an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to help build and scale Tracera’s outbound function.

You’ll work directly with our go-to-market leadership team to develop and deploy highly targeted outreach campaigns, craft messaging, and test new channels to book qualified meetings within our ICP.

You'll know you're winning when you're consistently generating qualified pipeline, your outreach sequences are being adopted by the broader team, and prospects are engaging because your messages matter to them. More importantly, you'll be building something that lasts - a repeatable outbound engine that scales with the company.

What You'll Do

Own Cold Outbound End-to-End

  • Design and execute personalized, multi-channel campaigns targeting sustainability, finance, compliance, and procurement buyers
  • Build outreach sequences from the ground up - writing scripts, crafting email flows, and testing messaging angles across our ICP
  • Master your toolkit: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, HubSpot, and Loom to create systematic outreach that converts
  • Conduct discovery calls to qualify prospects and book high-quality meetings for Account Executives

Create the Playbook While You Execute

  • Test what works across different personas and verticals, then document it for the team
  • Turn blog posts, case studies, and thought leadership into tactical outreach hooks
  • Collaborate with Marketing to build content specifically for outbound (ROI calculators, one-pagers, battle cards)
  • Track all activity and engagement data to identify patterns that drive pipeline

Be the Voice of the Market

  • Bring field insights back to inform go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and sales messaging
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align outbound angles with current campaigns
  • Help refine ICPs and buyer personas based on real conversations with prospects
  • Stay current on ESG trends to spot emerging opportunities and better position Tracera

· Leverage referral-based selling by building and nurturing a strong network of connectors to expand Tracera’s reach.

· Master the use of LinkedIn and other digital channels to consistently generate qualified leads and book product demos.

· Drive global outreach efforts, with a focus on booking meetings across both North America and Europe.

What We're Looking For

The Essentials

  • 2-4 years in B2B SaaS sales or business development, preferably at an early-stage startup
  • You've built outbound campaigns from scratch and can explain why some approaches work while others fall flat
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for personalization that sparks curiosity
  • Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and time management

Bonus Points

  • Experience with MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar value-selling frameworks
  • Background engaging sustainability, compliance, legal, or finance stakeholders
  • Track record as a founding BDR or first sales hire at a company
  • Familiarity with supply chain, ESG, procurement, or finance software
