We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build and scale a high-performing marketing function focused on driving pipeline and fostering engaged, loyal customers.
The Role
This is a player-coach leadership role; ideal for someone who loves balancing hands-on execution with strategic leadership. The ideal candidate is a proven demand generation tactician, deeply resourceful and proficient in leveraging AI-powered marketing tools for greater efficiency and scale. You will be responsible for owning and evolving our entire marketing function, with a core focus on growth marketing and product marketing, supported by external vendors, and future team hires.
You will partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to shape the customer journey from awareness through adoption and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Generation
- Architect and execute multi-channel demand gen campaigns to deliver high-quality, qualified pipeline (SEO, paid, ABM, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Align strategic marketing campaigns and programs to measurable pipeline creation; consistently track, report and improve Marketing Generated Pipeline, volume, velocity, conversion and retention.
- Harness the right marketing tools for campaign optimization, content automation, data enrichment, lead scoring. and workflow scalability.
Product Marketing Excellence
- Craft positioning and messaging frameworks that resonate with sustainability, compliance, procurement and finance personas. Continuously refine ICP and buyer Personas based on market insights and customer dialogue.
- Develop launch plans for new features focused on building qualified pipeline, driving market awareness, and cementing Tracera’s market leadership.
Content Strategy
- Develop and execute a content strategy and roadmap that fuels pipeline growth and established Tracera as a thought leader, delivering persona-focused content (whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and industry insights) that attracts, educates, and engages target buyers through the journey.
- Collaborate with external content creators as needed ensuring brand and messaging consistency
Team & Vendor Management
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a hybrid team spanning internal talent and freelancer/ vendors partners (event, designers, PR, PPC)
- Own marketing budget and performance analytics
You Bring
- 6+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience with a focus on hands-on demand generation and product marketing
- Proven experience driving both pipeline generation and customer retention for technical or regulatory-focused products (ideally sustainability, ESG, climate tech, or compliance-related)
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling ability
- Experience working in early-stage, fast-paced environments (Series A )
- Proficiency with marketing tech stack (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads, Webflow, etc.)
- Analytical mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation and iteration
- Leadership experience — even in flat or lean teams — with the ability to rally internal and external contributors
What Success Looks Like
- Build a scalable Inbound Engine: Demonstrate clear, sustainable increases in Marketing Generated Pipeline, leading to new logo acquisition and high customer retention.
- Launch at least one successful, scalable growth channel with measurable ROI within the first months
- Deliver best-in-class, differentiated product messaging in collaboration with the organization
- Build a marketing team and workflow architecture primed for growth
